Home Anew is owned and operated by Leslie Lutz. As an important part of the organization Karen Dunn facilitates both the marketing and all aspects of the move management process. We’ve both found a focus for the need of Move Specialists through our experiences in caretaking for our own parents. Learning to be sensitive to what is of value to them has helped us to make some of their transitions easier. One of the gifts that they’ve given us is to apply the lessons we’ve learned through them to our business helping others.

 

 

The tools that I bring to my work are derived from both my professional and personal experience. My background is as a designer and project manager for both commercial and residential interiors. Outside of implementing the interior design it also involves supervising the moves of large projects.

I’ve also been the owner and manager of a small business. Both of these occupations have used the skills of organization and planning that are crucial to allow me to be a successful move manager.

These skills are balanced by the very cherished values that my parents have instilled in me throughout my years of caretaking for them.

My experience as a commercial and residential designer has given me the focus to anticipate the obstacles that need to be planned for in advance of a move.

The fears and frustrations that can deliver a bump along the way will be smoothed through my attention to detail. I’ve also gained a sensitivity in caring and patience through my experience caretaking for my Father throughout the years.

 
The values that I’ve learned both professionally and personally are then translated into the care I deliver in my work I understand the process involved with downsizing and move managemet and believe the move will be made.
